Happy holidays everyone! I was given the wonderful opportunity to work with SheKnows and The Salvation Army on their #RedKettleReason campaign.

The #RedKettleReason campaign encourages people to share their stories of giving and why they donate to the Red Kettles during the holiday season. It's something that is near and dear to my heart because throughout my life, I've always been passionate about giving, especially during the holidays. For me, that's the best part.

My parents taught me and my siblings from a very early age the importance of giving back. It's really important for me and my husband to instill in our five children that giving is more important than getting. As a family, we find opportunities to give back throughout the year, but it's especially important for me to make sure that my children know how good it can make you feel when you help others. It's important to show them the true gift of giving back.

Everyone has challenges in life, no matter who they are, and it's important to make sure you're helping out and doing what you can, big or small, to make someone feel better and put a smile on their face. The holidays are a wonderful time to come together and help out with family and friends. I feel it's the best gift you can give, the gift of knowing you've helped someone.

I shared my #redkettlereason here. I'd love to hear your #redkettlereason
