This holiday season, I was given the opportunity to work with SheKnows and The Salvation Army on the #RedKettleReason campaign to help encourage people to share the reasons and inspirations for why they give during the holiday seasons.

I'm one of those people who believes you get out of this world what you put into it. For me, if the simple gratification of helping others and making their lives easier in some way wasn't enough (it is), it's the belief that good things will come back to me. That's what keeps me going and giving. I love to help if I can and I know others will be there for me when I need them, if I need them. The cycle of giving reciprocates and it acts as a reminder that there is still good in this world.

Whether it's adopting a family in need for the holidays, providing wrapped gifts at the local fire station, volunteering at a soup kitchen or donating loose change in a red kettle at the store, there are so many ways to pay it forward during the holiday season.

Take a look at the #RedKettleReason video I contributed to and share your #RedKettleReason too!
