Winter on the east coast means lots of time indoors. With three kids under 10 years old, I'm always looking for good ways to entertain them inside.

During the winter those few hours between school pickup and dinnertime can seem just endless. I recently discovered ways to pass the time by getting the older ones engaged in the kitchen, making delicious, yummy after-school snacks. Here's one of my new favorites I recently made with my kids!

TruMoo® partnered with some great bloggers to come up with a variety of original recipes that use TruMoo products. On a recent visit to TruMoo's website, I immediately fell in love with the marshmallow dessert dip. I mean... dessert dip. The answer is always yes, right?

The ingredient list was super simple, just five items, including TruMoo's Limited Edition Chocolate Marshmallow milk (more on that awesomeness in a few)! First, I melted the chocolate chips in the microwave and then let the kids help coat the top half of graham crackers. Then into the fridge for about 20 minutes to cool.

Then I combined marshmallow fluff, cream cheese and TruMoo® Chocolate Marshmallow Milk together and whipped until smooth (with a fork, no need to bring out any machinery). If you have older kids, they can definitely help with this step, too.

Another 30 minutes in the fridge to solidify and we were ready to eat them. Refer to the full recipe here for exact measurements.

I made a little plate for the family to enjoy. I literally had to hold them back. Everyone was beyond thrilled. What a treat! And honestly, so easy and fun to make.

Now, a little more on the TruMoo® Chocolate Marshmallow. I'm super excited about this amazing discovery. Filled with all the yummy flavor that your family is looking for but thankfully minus the high fructose corn syrup that moms try to avoid, it's the perfect way to end a snowy day adventure this winter.

I wanted to get the kids' true reactions to the product, so I kept snapping pictures as they sipped their first taste. Notice how both of their eyebrows went up with surprise and enjoyment. Cracked me right up!

And you can enjoy it cold or hot. Simply heat it up on the stove or put your cup in the microwave. What an easy and quick way to enjoy hot chocolate this season!

If you're looking for more things to do with your kids on these cold and dreary winter days, TruMoo's website is a gold mine! From recipes to super fun games, you'll find loads of fun ways to keep the kids busy.
